'Pierre, or The Ambiguities' Summary
Pierre Glendinning is a young man from a wealthy family who is engaged to be married to Lucy Tartan. However, when he meets Isabel Banford, a mysterious woman who claims to be his illegitimate sister, his life is turned upside down. Pierre becomes obsessed with Isabel and begins to question everything he thought he knew about himself and his family. As Pierre delves deeper into Isabel's past, he uncovers a series of dark secrets that threaten to destroy his family and his own sanity. In the end, Pierre must confront his own demons and decide what is most important to him: his love for Isabel or his loyalty to his family.Book Details
