The Seaboard Parish is the second book in the trilogy that began with Annals of a Quiet Neighbourhood. It follows the same characters as they move to a new parish by the sea. The pastor's daughter is ill, and they hope the fresh air will improve her health. While there, they meet an artist who wins the hearts of the family, especially one of the daughters. The book is filled with heartwarming moments and daring adventures.
