'Zadig ou la destinée' Summary
Zadig, a young and virtuous man, is forced to flee Babylon after being falsely accused of a crime. He embarks on a long journey, during which he encounters a variety of people and experiences. He learns about the human condition and the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity. Zadig eventually returns to Babylon and is reunited with Astarté. They marry and live happily ever after.Book Details
