Set in ancient Egypt, Arachne tells the story of Ledscha, a young woman who has lost her betrothed and all hope of love. But the gods have other plans for her. She falls in love with a Greek sculptor, who initially only sees her as a model for his statue of Arachne. However, as they spend more time together, he begins to see her true beauty and worth. But their love is forbidden, and they must overcome many obstacles to be together.
