Cántico de Navidad

La novela cuenta la historia de Ebenezer Scrooge, un avaro y solitario hombre de negocios que desprecia la Navidad. La noche de Navidad, Scrooge es visitado por el fantasma de su difunto socio, Jacob Marley, quien le advierte que será visitado por tres espíritus: el espíritu de las navidades pasadas, el espíritu de la navidad presente y el espíritu de las navidades futuras. Cada espíritu lleva a Scrooge a un viaje a través del tiempo, mostrándole las consecuencias de su comportamiento avaro y egoísta. Scrooge, conmocionado por lo que ha visto, se arrepiente de sus acciones y decide cambiar su vida. A partir de ese momento, se convierte en una persona generosa y llena de amor, disfrutando de la compañía de sus seres queridos y celebrando la Navidad con alegría. La novela de Dickens explora temas como la avaricia, la redención, la importancia de la familia y la celebración de la Navidad.
