'Ilíada' Summary
La Ilíada comienza con la disputa entre Aquiles y Agamenón, rey de los aqueos. Agamenón se niega a devolver a Criseida, hija de un sacerdote, a su padre, lo que enfurece a Aquiles y lo lleva a retirarse de la batalla. La ausencia de Aquiles debilita a los aqueos, y los troyanos, liderados por Héctor, logran avances significativos. Tras la muerte de Patroclo, amigo íntimo de Aquiles, éste vuelve al campo de batalla con renovado vigor y mata a Héctor en un enfrentamiento épico. La historia culmina con el funeral de Héctor y la tristeza de Andrómaca, su esposa. La Ilíada, a pesar de su enfoque en la batalla, es un poema rico en emociones y reflexiones sobre la condición humana y la naturaleza de la guerra.Book Details
