'Little Brown Jug at Kildare' Summary
Two men, one from the North and one from the South, set out on their own journeys in search of adventure and romance. The northerner, a young lawyer named John Carteret, is drawn to the South by the promise of excitement and adventure. The southerner, a wealthy planter named Robert Singleton, is looking for a wife. Both men find what they are looking for, but not in the way they expected. Carteret falls in love with a beautiful Southern belle, but their relationship is forbidden by her father. Singleton marries a woman he does not love, but he soon finds himself drawn to another woman. As the two men's lives become more and more intertwined, they find themselves caught up in a web of intrigue and danger. They must use all of their wits and courage to uncover the truth behind the disappearances and restore order to the states.Book Details
