'Sterben' Summary
Felix, consumed by hypochondria, convinces himself that he is gravely ill. Seeking a definitive diagnosis, he consults Dr. Alfred, his friend and physician. The verdict is grim: Felix has a year left to live. Heartbroken, Felix's lover Marie proposes a suicide pact. Initially hesitant, Felix eventually agrees. As the day of their planned deaths approaches, Felix experiences a profound shift in his perspective. He realizes that he does not wish to die and convinces Marie to abandon their pact. However, fate has a cruel twist in store for them.Book Details
